About the Series
The English language version is currently available for licensing to the World excluding Africa: Trippin’ with Skhumba is one of its kind 7 part Showmax original reality series hosted by standup comedian Skhumbozo “Skhumba” Hlophe who takes trips around the country in an old personalized pimped-up Caravan. He visits his South African standup comedian friends in their hometowns to try understanding what shaped them. In each episode Skhumba introduces viewers to a selected comedian, and together they visit places that have great meaning to the guest. With each place visited we find out new things about a guest that are personal and would otherwise be edited out in their biography.
