About the Series
Based on the Vernon Baumann novel, Daddy Longlegs, this drama is compelling viewing. Spoorloos (Trackless) takes place in a small village that has become a ghost town following a series of unsolved mysteries including a devastating serial killer case. The village was terrorized by a serial killer who targeted young boys until the killings abruptly and inexplicably stopped. 13 years later, just as the town is finally trying to shake off its past and attempt to re-invent itself, the serial killer suddenly returns. To find them a big city detective and ambitious journalist have to re-open old wounds. Simultaneously, there are three children who are trying to capture the monster on their own along with the complex family intrigues that surface in any small town. This series is rich in suspense and together with the quality performances makes for unmissable viewing.
