About the Series
Adapted from the award-winning South African original “The River”. This production is full of intrigue, betrayal and a lot of emotion. The story follows Monifa Tchiyo, the beautiful and powerful businesswoman who commands a diamond exploration operation, with an iron fist and without mercy. Her right-hand man is Henda Tchyo, her husband's nephew, a tough and brutish young man, who works as a stick for all the villain's work. He is the figure who best interprets and executes Monifa's merciless orders.
