About the Series
Kruispad (Crossroads) is the first part in renowned writer Deon Opperman’s trilogy that also includes Hartland and Donkerland. It is a thirteen year-long story between 1994 to 2007. It explores how two Afrikaans families adjust to the new South Africa. Each character stands at a crossroads and we see the consequences of their choices as the two families lives intersect.
