About the Series
The English language version is currently available for licensing to the World excluding Africa: iThemba is a South African television drama series which follows Philiswa, a young woman whose life comes to a halt when her sister, Nomonde, who has been the sole caretaker of their family, stops paying Philiswa's varsity fees and disappears. Philiswa's search leads her to a church where she discovers that Nomonde is in trouble. Philiswa realises that this place is a cult that takes advantage of desperate people and in her search to find and free Nomonde, she uncovers family secrets that threaten to destroy her and Nomonde.
