A cart-taxi driver goes to the city to make a living, but out of sympathy with other poverty-stricken people, he works for free and goes hungry himself. The main characters in this short film are anti-heroes: we identify less with the cart driver, for instance, because he remains blind to the system that exploits him. For the cart driver, it is the people who matter and characters such as he are sacrificed for the broader need of the people to rise against the system oppressing them.
