The show focuses on two former prisoners who became friends while in jail and aim to build their legacies with new business ventures in post-apartheid South Africa. However, with horrible secrets struggling to remain in the dark, they must keep their families together while trying to make sure that everything they’ve built won’t fall apart in front of their eyes.
A search for truth, the past coming back to affect the present, complicated politics and protecting what is yours are all important themes in this riveting and powerful drama.
The two former prisoners, Ma E and Tiny, are portrayed by Bheki Sibiya (eHostela, The Herd, Ifalakhe) and Makhaola Ndebele (Money Monster, This is not a Burial, It's a Resurrection, Isibaya).
Ma E is a street-smart businessman and former township gangster who is a massive figure in the community while Tiny is now a charming and hard-working politician with aspirations of running for mayor.
The pair are joined on-screen by legendary actress Lillian Dube (Isithembiso, Nqobile, Black Tax), Sandile Mahlangu (Shaft 6, Rhythm City, Isithembiso), Kwanele Mthethwa (The Queen, Abomama, Isithembiso), Zinzile Zungu (Housekeepers, Uzalo, Mzali Wami), Bathabile Mashigo (Scandal!, Generations) and more!
