A circle of close friends is put to the test when issues such as infidelity and fierce rivalry start surfacing. Inconceivable also portrays the struggle of the working mother as they navigate the balancing act of maintaining a demanding career with motherhood.
Inconceivable is the brainchild of Rous House Productions, the production company behind SAFTA-winning shows, High Rollers and Gauteng Maboneng. The hit drama comes as part of a recent slate of top productions from MultiChoice’s channel M-Net, which includes Trackers, Legacy and Still Breathing. These shows deliver on M-Net’s commitment to producing high-quality local drama for audiences.
Inconceivable assembles a star-studded cast including Anel Alexander who plays Marieke Meyer in the show. Alexander, who won a SAFTA for her role in the hit film, Sink, returned to South Africa from the United States to portray the role. The cast includes another SAFTA-winning actress, Carine Rous, who won the award for her role in the popular comedy, Elke Skewe Pot.
The cast also includes comedian and radio personality, Nina Hastie and local soapie stars, Refilwe Madumo (Scandal) and Jay Anstey (Legacy). Star of Trackers and the international film, Rogue, Sisanda Henna, Wayne van Rooyen (Fiela se Kind) and Langley Kirkwood, star of multiple international films and shows such as Invictus, Dredd, Black Sails and Banshee.
